How they work
App-controlled toys connect to a phone by Bluetooth. Close up, your partner controls the toy directly from their phone. Far apart, the app connects you over the internet, so a partner anywhere in the world can take control in real time.
Two things surprise most couples:

What to check before you buy
- Compatibility. Not every toy syncs with every other. Check the brand’s list of compatible pairs before buying a set.
- The app. Read recent reviews. Connection problems happen, and a toy is only as good as its app on your phone.
- Privacy. You’ll create an account. Share control links only with your partner, and end the session when you’re done.
- Materials. Body-safe silicone, easy to clean.
- Battery and warranty. Long dinners need a full charge, and a good warranty matters on connected devices.
